The fanbase at large seems to be split between those who feel insulted, and those wondering what the big deal is. Certain fans of Tali, who have been waiting to find out what she and her fellow Quarians look like, are rather disappointed that her grand unveiling revealed a secondhand face. The picture of Tali with her mask off (viewable later in the game) is a slightly reworked image of an existing stock photograph, as discovered by a number of Internet Sherlocks.
Players have an opportunity to find out what the masked Tali’s face looks like, but it seems some folk didn’t get what they hoped for. As if Mass Effect 3couldn’t get into hotter water with enraged gamers, fans of a particular character are even more furious.
